In the Appenzell Show Cheese Dairy you experience at first-hand how Appenzeller® cheese is made. And from 2012 we offer an exciting innovation. With the newly developed iPad guided tour you can explore the dairy interactively and at your own pace. The tour takes you through all stages of cheese making, including the impressive cheese cellar, in which over 6000 cheese loaves are regularly treated with the secret herbal brine, and to the comfortable "Dairy Cinema". After you have seen the master cheese-makers at work, you can try out various hearty Appenzell dishes in the Restaurant Höckli.
