The Appenzeller cheese factory was opened in 1978. Since then more than 8 million visitors from all over the world have visited the birthplace of Appenzeller cheese. Every day, our staff members do their best to offer all guests an unforgettable experience revolving around the strongest cheese in Switzerland.
