Last Monday, the Appenzeller® Schaukäserei exceptionally closed its doors at 4 p.m., as a tasty and inspiring team excursion was on the agenda.
The first stopp of the excursion took us to our partner, Appenzeller Alpenbitter AG, in the picturesque town of Appenzell. There, the employees enjoyed an interesting guided tour through the exciting and beautifully designed “world of herbs”. On the way to the 42 selected herbs of “historical medicine”, a varied tasting of Appenzeller Alpenbitter AG’s wide range of products was of course a must at the end of the tour. We would like to thank Appenzeller Alpenbitter AG for this unique experience, their great hospitality and their fantastic cooperation. In addition to the joint spicy group experience entitled “Tracking down the secret”, last year we also developed an exclusive fondue blend that is available in the Appenzeller® Show Dairy shop – Coriander Fondue with Appenzeller Alpenbitter. Afterwards, the Show Dairy team travelled to Steinegg to visit our supplier, Breitenmoser Fleischspezialitäten AG. We were spoilt for culinary delights in the state-of-the-art GUSTARIUM, with its informative and superbly staged experience rooms. Many thanks also to the team at Breitenmoser Fleischspezialitäten AG for their excellent service and hospitality.A small highlight of this family-friendly event was the crunchy lottery game between the main course and dessert, with great prizes to be won from our partner companies Säntis-Schwebebahn AG, Hoher Kasten Drehrestaurant und Seilbahn AG (HKDS AG), Baumwipfelpfad Neckertal, Appenzellerland Tourismus AG and Maestrani Schweizer Schokoladen AG.
The Executive Board, the Management Board and the Board of Directors would like to thank the dedicated employees of the Appenzeller® Schaukäserei for their outstanding performance over the past year. The great commitment of the entire team and each individual has made a significant contribution to the company’s success in 2023.
