The Appenzeller show dairy first opened in 1978. Since then, over eight million visitors from all over the world have visited the site where Appenzeller® cheese was created. Every day, our employees do their utmost to offer all guests an unforgettable experience firmly focused on Switzerland’s tastiest cheese.

By car and coach:
free parking is available, and our spacious car park offers parking for up to eight coaches!

By public transport to «Stein Dorf» bus stop:

From Appenzell, the PubliCar Appenzell goes to Stein. This can be booked with the PubliCar app or by phone 0848 55 30 60.

Rules for dog owners

Your four-legged friends are very welcome in our «Höckli» restaurant. Please check availability with us in advance.

Dogs are not allowed in the Marktplatz restaurant, the shop or the dairy for hygiene reasons. Thank you for your understanding.
