Voralpen-Express Autumn Special: 20% discount at the Appenzeller Show Dairy
From 1 September to 31 December 2026, the Voralpen-Express Autumn Special invites visitors to discover the scenic route between St.Gallen and Lucerne. In addition to return travel, the special offer includes attractive discounts at selected leisure attractions.
The Appenzeller Show Dairy in Stein, Appenzell Ausserrhoden, is also participating in the offer. The Voralpen-Express Autumn Special provides 20% off admission to the Appenzeller Show Dairy.
A stop in Stein combines regional culinary heritage with an authentic visitor experience. The Appenzeller Show Dairy offers an insight into the traditional production of Appenzeller cheese and the history and craftsmanship behind one of Switzerland’s best-known speciality cheeses.
The Autumn Special includes return travel with the Voralpen-Express and SOB suburban trains between St.Gallen and Lucerne, or in the opposite direction, as well as between Biberbrugg and Einsiedeln. A coffee, tea or hot chocolate on board the Voralpen-Express is also included.
